First Vision

        First Church is a community of Christian believers being  transformed through intentional discipleship (Ephesians 4:13), spirit based worship (John 4:23) and a calling from God to practice Christian hospitality (Romans 12:13) and to build lay leadership Teams (Ephesians 4:12) as we reach out in service to those who are hurting (Psalm 82:3) and in witness to all persons about new possibilities in Christ (Matthew 28:19-20). •      By Christ’s example, be leaders and shepherds of God’s flock — worshiping Him regularly

•      Study God’s Word, individually and in groups, and apply it consistently

•      Pray regularly — individually and in groups

•      Exhibit Christ-like behavior and harmony among all the other Saints

•      Work hard, for Christ’s sake

•      Help those who can’t help themselves

•      Look first at the “log in our own eye” before addressing the  “speck in the eye” of another

•      Always encourage others to be the best they can be

•      Work toward excellence in all we do, never accepting the status quo (Excellence attracts like a magnet)
