The 18th annual first United Methodist Build
for Habitat for Humanity will begin July 17, 2008. Volunteers are needed
until the house is completed around the end of August.

This is a great volunteer
opportunity for an individual, small group, or Sunday School class, so
start thinking now about coming to the site! |
Involvement may include a
devotional, a meal for the workers, painting, landscaping, or cleaning.
assisting with construction requires no experience, since there will be
skilled leaders to guide us. |
Registration is important,
in that it helps us plan our workforce and staffing. Please
register as soon as you can! |
Other ways to help without
lifting a hammer include an in-kind donation of materials and/or skilled
laborers. Donating a lot, a car, home furnishing, appliances, or
building materials can be handled through the Habitat office or ReStores.
